We're excited you're here. This is the place where you can get excited about Bible study. Maybe euphoric is a better word. That's where we get our name.
Bible + euphoria = Biblephoria!
Studying God's Word is one of those things we should get really excited about.
Why?
Because life changes when Scripture speaks and we listen. This is a home base for Bible study that is clear, faithful, and full of joy. We open Scripture because God is not silent. He has breathed out His Word for our benefit. We read because He loves to be found.
To put it simply, studying God's Word matters.
Of course, none of what I'm about to say matters if you don't have the most important ingredient: faith in Jesus Christ. No matter what people say...
A denomination can't help you.
Your church can't help you.
Your works can't help you.
Your prayers can't help you.
Only Jesus can help you. Put your trust in Him today. He makes Bible study make sense because He brought glory to His Father, just like we bring glory to the Father.
It matters because the Bible is God speaking to us. When He does, we need to listen. There's no other reason to study the Bible than to hear God's voice.
God speaks.
We listen.
Life changes.

What’s the point? God. To know Him as He reveals Himself. To hear His voice. To trust His promises. To live out all He tells us.
It’s not homework. It’s a conversation.
With whom?
The living God, of course! That’s why this site exists.
The Bible is the literal Word of God. Breathed out. True. Sufficient. Final.
And it's His final word to us. We don't need anything else to know how to love God more. Click here to find out more about what Bible study is.
This should lead us to one overarching truth. The study of God's Word should drive us to delight. It certainly shouldn't cause stress!
Which brings us to the matter of theology. Most people cry, "Yuck!" when they hear that word. Maybe you're one of them.
But here's the thing. Theology doesn't have to be "Yuck!". Theology at its simplest means "the study of God." That's also the main thrust of Bible study. To discover who God is through study.
In other words, theology doesn’t have to be complicated. We find it when we study God's Word. Doctrine should end in delight. That's how we do Bible study around here.
We believe that theology is rooted in Scripture and must be approached with humility. When we do it right, it becomes a wellspring of joy.
It’s not about mastering difficult concepts. It isn't about impressing others with big words. It’s about meeting God on His terms, in His Word, and letting that encounter shape our hearts and lives.
Theology becomes beautiful when it leads us to know God better. That's the heart of Bible study.
This leads us back to Bible study. Specifically, let's look at what you'll find here.
First, we'll provide you with the method for Bible study. Then we'll tackle the tools that make it interesting. Next, we'll provide Bible studies that will wrestle with all kinds of topics and texts. Finally, we'll do a deeper dive into theology. That won't be for a while. Look for it soon!
Simple. Thorough. Attractive. Accurate. We’ll keep the main things clear and the deep things approachable.
Let's drill down and see what we can discover.
What will help us achieve this lofty but attainable goal? We'll discuss this in our Bible methods section.
But before we get into that, let's remember who wrote this. It was the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is a good Teacher. You have to have Him first before you can really understand what the Bible says. If you don't have the Holy Spirit, click here to find out more (coming soon).
Now that we've cleared that up, let's look at a few things we'll cover here.
Context is king. Verse. Paragraph. Book.
Read whole sections. Follow the author’s flow. Watch repeated words. Notice contrasts. Keep one eye on the immediate passage. Keep the other eye on the big story—creation, fall, redemption, new creation. (Whew! Good thing we have two eyes!) History and grammar are our friends.
This approach helps us avoid cherry-picking verses or misapplying Scripture. It trains us to read the Bible the way it was meant to be read. Thoughtfully, reverently, and in context. When we understand the flow of thought, the cultural background, and the literary structure, we begin to see the richness of God’s Word unfold before us.
We'll study this and so much more as we study Bible study method.
We'll talk about Bible tools as well. Like a master gardener with his rake and shovel or a master chef with his cutlery, Bible students have their tools too.
A trustworthy translation. A notebook. A solid commentary. A good concordance and Bible dictionary. Maps and an atlas for place and time. Cross-references. Maybe an interlinear or lexicon as you grow.
These are tools that will help you succeed. They will get you excited about Bible study.
And don’t worry—we’ll walk you through how to use them. Whether you’re brand new to Bible study or have been at it for years, there’s always more to learn. We’ll help you build a toolkit that’s both practical and powerful. You don’t need a seminary degree to study the Bible well. You just need a willing heart, a few good tools, and a guide to show you the way.
What will our Bible studies look like? We'll search some texts for the deep but simple truths they contain. We'll tackle topics that will woo us to love God more. We'll have studies for men and women.

We’ll explore the Psalms and their raw honesty. We’ll walk through the Gospels and see Jesus in action. We’ll dive into the epistles and discover how the early church lived out their faith. We’ll look at Proverbs for wisdom, Genesis for beginnings, and Revelation for hope.
Soon we hope to offer topical Bible studies as well. We'll tackle life's most difficult questions. Coming soon!
Each study will be crafted to help you engage with the text, ask good questions, and apply what you learn.
One caveat before we move on. These studies don't take the place of your place in church on Sunday. Make sure you support your pastor by showing up for church on the Lord's Day.
